Updated 2013 / 2014 Spreadsheet with GP

Published on August 20, 2014, by in NFL.

I’ve just uploaded a major update to the stats spreadsheet with the following additions:

  • Games Played & Games Started in 2013
  • Updated Projections from Yahoo and FantasyPros
  • New players in the top 300
  • Ranking changes since June 19
  • See the full change log for more

A commentor asked about updating their customized version of the June spreadsheet. I’ve updated the stats without changing player order so no VLOOKUP / MATCH functions are needed, but this results in some players on IR remaining on the list.

As usual, email me any feedback or post in the comments!
And if you find any value in this sheet, please share, tweet this, and subscribe!

I’ve also removed all ads, and will never have them again, I’ve realized for the few dollars it barely makes, it’s just not worth it.
Thanks for all the kind words in the comments, and good luck with your draft!

New Season, New Spreadsheet!

Published on June 28, 2014, by in NFL.

What better way to celebrate the summer long weekends than getting a head start on fantasy football prep?

The offensive projected stats for 2014 are now up along with full 2013 season stats. This is the earliest I’ve ever got the offensive spreadsheet out, as I’m getting tired of procrastinating. 🙂 Rankings & IDP stats to come…

Two new stats this year: QB sacks taken and total fumbles. This is in addition to all the goodies you’re used to such as links to Yahoo! player profiles, customizable scoring settings and more!

Also updates will be much more reliable, as I’ve written a macro to automate the periodic updating of the stats. If you like it, please share, tweet, email, subscribe! Thanks!

See the full page and get the spreadsheet here: 2014 NFL Historical Stats with Projections.

NFL Draft Board Updated for 2013

Published on July 21, 2013, by in NFL.

On draft day, are you still using pen and paper to track your picks?
Download our free Excel spreadsheet to use during your live draft.

Reasons why an automated draft board will help you on Draft Day:

  • Don’t let a value pick slide past the round you have targeted by keeping a watch list every round.
  • Keep track of your positions left to fill.
  • Help avoid drafting several players with the same bye week.
  • Enter your league settings, and the draft order and pick #’s are auto calculated.
  • Get a quick glance at playoff weeks 14-16 strength of schedules for quick draft day decisions.

NFL Wild Card Week Predictions

Published on January 5, 2013, by in NFL.

My predictions for the Super Bowl and four Wild Card match-ups this weekend:

Cincinnati at Houston (-4.5) 1/5/2013 4:30p ET NBC
My Pick: Texans 23-17

A month ago the Texans were 11-1 and the Super Bowl favorite. But after a drubbing to the Patriots and losses to the Vikings and Colts to finish the season, many are picking the Bengals for an upset.

Winners of 7 of their last 8, Cincinnati will be a good young team for many years to come but their lack of depth at receiver behind AJ Green means they will need to establish the run on a stout Texans D and JJ Watt, my vote for NFL defensive player of the year. Look for Schaub to get another big day out of Andre Johnson, and the consistent Arian Foster to find pay dirt twice.

Minnesota at Green Bay (-7.5)  1/5/2013 8:00p ET NBC
My Pick: Packers 34-20

As incredible as Adrian Peterson has been in carrying the Vikings on his back, I can’t see Green Bay not learning from last week’s loss to Minnesota, and this week they’re at home. The focus all week must have been on team tackling, so expect the Packers to limit AP to 150 yards (is that limiting?) and forcing Ponder to beat them through the air, which he won’t. Rodgers to Jordy Nelson and NFL touchdown leader James Jones all day.
