2012 Fantasy Football Spreadsheets are ready!

Published on August 16, 2012, by in NFL.

Be prepared on your draft day. I’ve been in pay pools for seven years now and have tweaked these spreadsheets into the versions you see now. The first spreadsheet contains historical 2011 NFL stats for offense (QB, RB, WR, TE). The second spreadsheet I swear by on draft day. There are online tools popping up for this sort of thing, but I always find myself going back to a trusty excel spreadsheet. This one works great for offline drafts too, so print them out! Why share them now? Because sharing is caring. Enjoy. Any constructive feedback is appreciated! Take me

Clark Judge at CBS wrote an excellent article today about the recent deft moves by Cincinnati Bengals owner Mike Brown. Many thought it would be a long rebuilding process when they cut Pro Bowlers in 2008, the year Carson Palmer got hit by the injury bug. They’ve turned that into a first and second rounder for Palmer and the drafting of a franchise QB and WR in the same year. Click here for the complete article on CBSSports.com.

The Best Day to Start

Published on April 26, 2012, by in Blog.

So instead, I’ve settled on the word “start”. Starting is often the hardest part. There are lots of reasons not to start: Who will read these posts? (at this point, no one, not even Googlebot) What if our writing is terrible? (it probably is, we have no journalism degrees) How do I handle negative comments?
